At the Y, we’ve made the health and fitness of our seniors a top priority by providing programs for the spirit, mind, and body. Our Active Older Adults programs include low-impact classes that are suitable for all fitness levels.

A low-impact workout designed for active older adults that incorporates strength training, cardio and stretching.
This class incorporates the use of stability balls, dumbbells and bands to increase strength, gain endurance and flexibility.
An evidence-based group exercise program that helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives. Proven to help manage arthritic pain. Registration required.
A dynamic workout that simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body, resulting in greater joint mobility and lean, long muscles.

This class takes the Zumba formula and modifies the move and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participants, as
well as those just starting their fitness journey.
Improve your balance, strengthen your core, and get a full body, low impact workout. This class includes cardio, strength training, upper and lower body workouts utilizing an aerobic ball.
