2026-2027 PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The YMCA Preschool Program, led by a certified licensed teacher, provides children ages 3 through 5 years old a creative and educational curriculum that helps them grow and develop into confident, caring, happy individuals.
Our M, W, F students (ages 4-5) will focus on kindergarten readiness by utilizing the Zoo Phonics and Haggerty educational program. These two-curriculums aligned with skills needed for kindergarten.
Our T, Th classes (ages 3-4) will use the frog street curriculum. Frog street Students will learn the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors through hands-on activities from a licensed teacher. All week, preschoolers stay active by participating in swim lessons, water safety and other stimulating activities.
**A $30 non-refundable registration fee is applied for each child. Payments are made through a monthly bank draft on the 15th of each month.**
Labor Day is Sept 7. The YMCA is closed.
PRESCHOOL COST AND CLASS TIMES:
3-4 YEAR OLDS
(Must be 3 and potty trained by August 31, 2026)
- Tuesday/Thursday Class at 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- $30 non-refundable registration fee is applied for each child.
- This class will run Sept. 8, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Members: $179/mo | Non-Members: $277/mo
- *Preschool dates follow SD2 calendar*
4-5 YEAR OLDS
(must be potty trained)
- 5-year old's must be entering Kindergarten in Fall 2027/2028)
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday Class at 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- $30 non-refundable registration fee is applied for each child.
- This class will run Sept. 9, 2026 – May 28, 2026
- Members: $214/mo | Non-Members: $313/mo
- *Preschool dates follow SD2 calendar*
- A graduation ceremony will be held at the end of the school year.
