The Billings Family YMCA's scuba summer camps teach kids how to safely explore the underwater world. This beginner scuba camp for kids focuses on fundamental skills such as breathing control, proper finning technique, air management, and how to make controlled descents and ascents. Instruction is led by Dave Bakker and the professional dive team from Adventure Scuba, who guide campers through these essential scuba skills in a controlled environment to help prepare them for open water diving experiences.

Meet Dave Bakker: Dave has been introducing divers to the underwater world for over 20 years. He teaches all levels of Diving and will be leading Scuba camp this summer. Scuba Dave and his crew from Adventure Scuba will be the hosts of this under water good time. At the end of this week campers will be officially seal team certified. This camp is for 8yrs to 12yrs of age only. Mandatory Parent Meeting Tuesday June 30 at 6pm in Admin building next to the YMCA. This meeting is required for parents to attend as paperwork is required to be a part of Adventure Scuba Seal Team.

Be advised some medical conditions cannot participate in scuba due to the nature of scuba diving. These would be such as ear drum issues and breathing conditions. Any questions please reach out to Adventure Camp.
