Traditional Camp

All camp registrations must be paid in full at the time of registration

No refunds will be available on camp fees as camps are limited

Grades 1-4

  • Monday-Friday (Full Day)
    • Camp drop-off and pick up at the YMCA will be 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. unless otherwise prior arrangements were made.
    • Buses leave the Y at 10:15 a.m. daily to local parks. Late campers will need to be dropped off at the park.
    • Please download the Remind App. It's our mass communication piece for all camps.
  • Weekly Field Trips (Traditional Camp Only).
    • Group 1 (kids going into 1st grade)-Go on field trips Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
    • Group 2 (kids going into 2nd grade)–Go on field trips Thursdays
    • Group 3 (kids going into 3rd grade)–Go on field trips Thursdays
    • Group 4 (kids going into 4th grade)-Go on field trips Fridays
    • Leadership (kids going into 5th-7th grade) – Go on field trips Wednesdays
  • Campers must bring sack lunch and water bottle on field trip days.
  • Camper must wear camp shirt on field trip days.
  • A healthy lunch and afternoon snack are provided unless otherwise noted.
  • Please have your child bring a swimsuit and towel on Y swimming days, and field trips involving water.
  • Campers must be at the YMCA by 10:00 a.m. on field trip days. Children may not be dropped off early or picked up late without making prior arrangements.
  • Breakfast will not be provided this summer. Campers can bring a morning snack from home each day.
  • Please apply sunscreen to your child each day before they come to camp. We ask you to provide spray sunscreen with your child’s name on it. Staff can assist with spray on sunscreen.

PLEASE BRING A MORNING SNACK EACH DAY! BREAKFAST IS NOT PROVIDED THIS SUMMER.
Afternoon snacks will be provided. Bring lunch on field trip days.

LUNCH IN THE PARK

Lunch in the park will begin June 8- August 7.  
Campers will need to bring lunch:
Monday June 1 – Friday June 5 
Friday July 3
Monday August 10 – Friday August 14 
Monday August 17 – Friday August 21

Move over OZ this week will be Unicorns and Dragons and Gnomes- Oh my! We will go beyond the ordinary as we investigate all the mystery and myths of tall tales, we have all heard.

This will be a week of learning all about animals both on land and in the water. What do they eat?  Where do they live?  and Which one is our favorite? We will make crafts and play some fun games involving nothing but animals.

This theme allows kids to experience the fun of life on a farm, learning about animals, gardening, and farm life. They might participate in farm chores and create their own farm-themed art projects.

We will saddle up this week for a mighty good time partner. We will learn some history and little about the modern cowboy. Dust off your boots and saddle up your ponies on a stick. Ya’ll are in for a real treat this week.

With the wave of a magical wand this theme brings the magic of fairytales to life, with kids learning about classic fairytales and participating in fairy tale-themed activities and games. They might also create their own fairytale-inspired art projects.

This week will be filled with learning what gratitude is and how to practice it throughout the week. We will make some crafts from the heart to thank our local military and rescue workers.

We will bust a move through the ages this week. Monday of this week will be 1970s Disco Days. Tuesday we will groove through the 1960s. Wednesday we will sock-hop into the 1950s and then roar our way into the 1920s for Thursday. Fridays finally will be rocking out in the 1980s.

We will foster camper creativity with arts and crafts all week long. Everyone will have an opportunity to express themselves through various types of art media. Art with music, chalk, paint, clay and much more!

This theme brings the excitement of the circus, with kids learning circus skills like juggling, tightrope walking, and acrobatics. We will have a week filled with circus-themed games, activities and of course safety!

This week is not for the overcompetitive. We will learn the basics of playing fair, rules and the art of sharing. We all like to be competitive but the goal of this week is to learn how to be a good sport and have fun.

We will spend this week recapping the fun we had this summer all wrapped up into one week. We will choose from our favorite games and crafts and end the summer with a bang!
