STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Careers in STEM  are projected to grow 17 percent over the next few years, and the Y is helping youth develop strong problem-solving, planning, analysis, and decision-making skills to succeed in the classroom and in high-demand careers through Billings Family YMCA STEM projects.

S.T.E.M SUMMER CAMPS

Registration begins April 1, 2018 for members and April 15, 2018 for non-members

ROBOTICS

Become a junior scientist and embark on a series of science adventures! Campers will learn about robotics through hands-on activities at the Career Center. Instructor Eric Anderson! Register by June 10 to avoid late fee!

ROCKETRY CAMP

This class is an introduction to model rocketry. Learn how to build model rockets and learn about the science needed to launching your own rocket!

SCHOOL OF FLIGHT!

Campers will learn about flight, including the concept of lift and how control surfaces affect an aircraft in flight. Campers will design a glider that will be cut out using a laser engraver. We will test and modify the glider to get the longest flight possible. Instructor Eric Anderson! Register by July 1 to avoid late fee!
