Why the Y?
There are so many things to consider when choosing a summer camp for your child; so what’s different about Summer Camp at the Billings Family YMCA?
A few things:
Trustworthiness, respect, caring, fairness, responsibility and citizenship are the basis of our camp experience. We’re flexible. Register for just one week or register for eleven! Registrations are accepted until 5pm on the Friday before the camp week starts. We’re parent-friendly. We know parents require flexibility.
Camps fill up fast! If a camp is full when you go to register you will be automatically placed on a wait list. If space becomes available, children will be allowed to register for camp on a first come first serve basis from the waitlist.
Our camp is part of your children’s educational development. Interwoven within our fun, active play, our counselors work in educational elements and leadership training. We offer over 20 different camps. Your child has the opportunity to explore talents, skills, and places in our specialty, sports, arts, and enrichment camps.
Caring & Well Trained Staff
Each of our staff undergoes a series of interviews, reference checks, and a complete background/criminal history check. Our Youth Development Director is a college graduate with a degree in education and child development. Our trained staff has prior experience working with children, and all staff is certified in First Aid and CPR.
