BEGINNER YOGA (B) – The beginner class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment, and breath work in yoga. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety,and stability within each pose.
FUNCTIONAL YOGA– Breath your way into a good posture through practical, natural movement and biomechanically sound alignment doing pain free exercises with a focus on inner core strength, joint stability and balance.
PILATES (B)– Focus on core postural muscles which are essential to providing support for the spine. Exercises are done to help balance, flexibility and spine alignment.
PIYO – PiYo is a total-body fitness system designed to whip you into shape from head to toe. It combines the practices of Pilates and yoga to help you build strength, lose weight, increase flexibility and have a great time doing it.
NIA (B)– A fun, low-impact aerobic workout, combining simple dance moves, martial and healing arts, cardio conditioning, stress relief, and joint mobility to increase strength and energy
WALK-N-TALK WITH THE DOC (B)– Take a walk with Dr. Cheryl Cook as she answers questions regarding skin health, nutrition, and other health interests as you walk your way to a healthier you.
YOGA(B)– A holistic form of exercise and mental discipline that restores health and peace of mind; relaxation and breathing techniques enable you to release tension and increase flexibility.
YOGA CHALLENGE– Focus on strength and stamina while moving from pose to pose. This class will energize you while gaining flexibility. Knowledge of poses is helpful. This class is not recommended for children or pregnant women.
HARD CORE PILATES– Combines elements of modern exercise science and physical fitness regimens into a traditional pilates setting; reshape the entire body while gaining strength and toning.
YOGA FUSION– A full body workout that will improve your strength, flexibility and core strength; the class incorporates Vanyasa flow movements and ends with Savasana.
YOGA MINDFULNESS– Sustainable strength, flexibility and self-treatment training with focus on proper body mechanics and healthy
movement through awareness.
