Active Older Adult Classes

CHAIR PILATES & STRETCH (B)-This class incorporates the use of chairs, dumbbells and bands to increase strength while working out the heart to gain endurance and flexibility.

ENHANCE FITNESS® (*) (B)-An evidence-based group exercise program that helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives. Proven to help manage arthritic pain. Registration required.

LOW-IMPACT STRENGTH & AEROBICS (B)-A low-impact workout designed for active older adults that incorporates strength training, cardio and stretching.

ZUMBA® GOLD (B)-This class takes the Zumba formula and modifies the move and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participants, as
well as those just starting their fitness journey.

WEIGHTS FOR MOVEMENT (B)– A low-impact full body strength class that incorporates small resistance to reduce muscle loss in aging.

ESSENTRICS (B)– A dynamic workout that simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body, resulting in greater joint mobility and lean, long muscles.

PUMP N’ POUND® (B) – Enjoy a low-impact POUND® class to get your heart rate up and work on your coordination. This class will finish with some resistance training and a rejuvenating stretch.

STABILITY BALL (B)– Improve your balance, strengthen your core, and get a full body, low impact workout. This class includes cardio, strength training, upper and lower body workouts.
